SNL

So since 30 Rock wasn't on last night I watched a little bit of the SNL. I have to say that Saturday Night Live is getting better, but in no way will it ever be able to compare to the old SNL that I grew up with and loved with Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, Chris Farley and that crew or even the older episodes with Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, and Chevy Chase which are always classics. I fell out of watching the show for a couple of years because I really wasn't too excited about the cast that was on there, especially Jimmy Fallon. I cannot stand him in anything that he does and I don't think he is a funny person at all. Just something about him I don't like especially on SNL. But like I said before the show is getting better, maybe its because the hosts they are having or the skits but I find myself watching more and more nowadays. Last nights episode was good because it had a lot of episode from the past that always made me laugh with the people in it that i liked. So it was actually a good show last night.

  1. For sure man. Jimmy Fallon is terrible and I cannot they gave him a talk show. Like I said in my blog, it was a good show last night thanks to all the old skits. The thing is a have tried watching the show in the passed couple years and I can't do it. I used to watch it religiously so it was good to see some of my favs from the old days.

  2. i totally agree. jimmy fallon drives me nuts. and how he got his own late night show is beyond me. It's a shame that all that talent has gone elsewhere now on SNL.

  3. There seems to be a consensus brewing that Jimmy Fallon sucks. Gavin mentioned something about middle school. We're gonna have to get specific about this if we want to figure out how, or what, Jimmy Fallon is doing, or not doing, that actively annoys us so. Why? Because that's what media critics DO! :D

  4. I cant agree more with this post about SNL. Though I grew up loving SNL sometimes even watching it with by parents back in the day, it has no appeal to me anymore. After watching this episode some of the segmented were yes entertaining, but I remember watching a show and laughing the entire time, never once wanting to change the channel... What has happened to our generation of humor.
